EUK-134 is a synthetic superoxide dismutase (Superoxide dismutase, SOD) and catalase (Catalase, CAT) mimetic with highly effective antioxidant activity. It is a new type of water-soluble synthetic small molecule o-phenylaldehyde ethylenediamine-manganese complex.
2.Functional features of EUK-134
→Superoxide dismutase (Superoxide dismutase, SOD)
It is a naturally occurring enzyme in the human body. Its function is to catalyze the disproportionation reaction of superoxide anion free radicals (O2·) to generate H2O2[1], thus reducing the harmfulness of superoxide anions. Therefore, it is called the first enzyme in the cell. Detoxifying enzymes are also the strongest antioxidants. Studies have shown that reactive oxygen species (ROS) can induce immune inflammation [2]. SOD plays an important role in protecting the body from oxidative damage caused by superoxide radicals and the reactive oxygen species (ROS) generated by them.

is the most important antioxidant enzyme, which is present in almost all aerobic organisms. 3.Deficiencies in natural enzymes

4.EUK-134 mechanism of action
When it acts as an antioxidant on free radicals, it first acts as superoxide dismutase to catalyze it into hydrogen peroxide, and then acts as catalase to further catalyze hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen. This avoids the damage that hydrogen peroxide can do to our cells. (See below)
