Description
Polydatin is an extract of the plant Polygonum cuspidatum, which can be used for antitussive, regulating blood lipid, lowering cholesterol and anti-shock. Polygonum cuspidatum injection with polydatin as the main ingredient is China's first innovative Chinese medicine class 1 drug to be submitted for clinical research in the United States.
Pharmacological action
1. Polydatin has the effects of dispelling wind and dampness, dispelling blood stasis, relieving pain, relieving cough and resolving phlegm; it is mainly used for arthralgia, damp-heat jaundice, amenorrhea, symptom, water and fire burns, bruises, carbuncle swelling and sore poison, Cough and phlegm.
2. It has the effects of strengthening the heart to expand blood vessels, inhibiting platelet aggregation, regulating blood lipids, relieving cough and asthma, dispelling wind and dampness, dispelling blood stasis, anti-virus, anti-tumor, etc.
3. Polydatin has a strong bacteriostatic effect on Trichophyton rubrum and Trichophyton interdigitalis which cause stubborn ringworm and vesicular ringworm.
4. In clinical application, its extract has a significant antibacterial effect on clinical pathogenic fungi, and its compound also has a significant liver-protecting effect.
