The yield of puerarin was 1.998% and the yield of total flavonoids was 8.914%.
Papain enzymatic hydrolysis assisted extraction of active components from pueraria;
Firstly, the effects of single factors such as enzymatic hydrolysis time, enzymatic hydrolysis concentration and enzymatic hydrolysis temperature on the yield of puerarin and total flavonoids from puerarin were investigated. The extraction process conditions were obtained by orthogonal test using the yield of puerarin and total flavonoids from puerarin as the comprehensive evaluation index. The results showed that the enzymatic hydrolysis time was 4h, the enzymatic hydrolysis concentration was 2% and the enzymatic hydrolysis temperature was 60℃. When pH was 6, the yield of puerarin was 2.201% and the yield of total flavonoids was 10.613%. The yield of puerarin was higher than that of ethanol reflux method.
