Calcium lactate, white granule or powder, soluble in hot water, insoluble in ethanol, ether or chloroform; It is a good agent for calcium supplementation and an ideal additive for calcium-fortified foods. It can reduce the permeability of capillaries, maintain the normal excitability of nerves and muscles, help prevent and treat various allergic diseases, and maintain strong energy and physical strength. At the same time, it also has high solubility and physiological tolerance, and the acid roots are directly absorbed and metabolized without accumulation of equal points. Therefore, it is considered to be an ideal calcin substance. In medicine can be used to treat calcium deficiency and allergic diseases, can also be used as a coagulant. It is often used as a calcium fortification agent in food and is an essential calcium supplement for children, the elderly, pregnant women and so on. It is also commonly used as an epidermal hardener in fruit and vegetable food processing. As a feed additive in the feed industry, it can increase the production of milk, reduce the breaking rate of eggs, and promote the growth of young livestock.
Calcium lactate is an indispensable nutrient for the growth and development of infants and young children. Generally speaking, calcium lactate is used as a food additive, a fortifier of children's nutritional foods, and is used medically to supplement calcium. Therefore, the use of calcium lactate can effectively alleviate various problems caused by calcium deficiency in children, such as rickets and tetany, as well as supplement the calcium needed by women during pregnancy and lactation. Therefore, it is important to supplement calcium lactate. At the same time, calcium lactate is a good food calcium fortifier, and its absorption effect is better than inorganic calcium. It can be used in infant food, and can also be used as a calcium supplement for nutritional fortification. Mothers can supplement calcium lactate according to different situations of calcium deficiency in their children.
Calcium lactate granules contain high calcium content and are made from grains. They are particularly easy to digest and absorb. They can quickly supplement children with the calcium they need. In addition, to address the problem of myopia in children, β-carotene is added to directly supplement vitamin A. It will cause human poisoning. After beta-carotene enters the human body, it will be converted into vitamin A, so it will not have adverse effects on the human body.

Preparation method
1: Egg shell direct neutralization method
(1) eggshell pretreatment: First, the eggshell is placed in the cleaning tank, and the eggshell is soaked in 20℃ water for 30min, and the ratio of eggshell to water is 1: (2 ~ 2.5). Rinse the eggshell with clean water to remove the dirt attached to the eggshell. Then the washed eggshells were dried in a tunnel blast dryer at 55 ° C for 12h. Then the dried eggshells are crushed, screened for 40 mesh, and stored for later use.
(2) Neutralization reaction: Weigh 10g eggshell powder and put it in 250mL beaker, slowly add a certain amount of lactic acid to react with it, and add 100mL distilled water into the reaction system three times. In order to prevent overflow, stir while adding water. The temperature of the reaction is controlled by the constant temperature of the water bath, and the reaction is complete when no more bubbles are produced.
(3) Filtration and concentration: After the reaction is complete, the temperature is raised to 70℃, the generated calcium lactate is dissolved, and the mother liquor of calcium lactate is extracted while hot, and then the mother liquor is heated and concentrated. When the concentration of calcium lactate in the mother liquor reaches the range of 145 ~ 155g/L, it is cooled and crystallized for 24h. Due to the large solubility of calcium lactate in water, there is still a large amount of calcium lactate in the crystalline mother liquor, which is recrystallized after concentration and merged crystals.
(4) elution and drying: Add an appropriate amount of anhydrous ethanol, wash the calcium lactate crystals generated by the reaction, and remove the unreacted lactic acid and other residues attached to the surface. The calcium lactate after alcohol washing is placed in an electric blast drying oven for static drying at low temperature, the drying temperature is not higher than 80℃, and the drying temperature is 8 ~ 12h. When the mass fraction of calcium lactate reduced by heating is 15% ~ 20%, white powdered calcium lactate can be crushed, screened and packaged.
2. The preparation process of calcium lactate with cuttlebone is as follows: Take 2.50g cuttlebone powder → put it in a conical bottle → add 85% lactic acid → shake it well → put it in a constant temperature water bath for reaction → Dilute and wash with isothermal evaporating water → Pump and filter → Put the filtered liquid in a small beaker → put it in a constant temperature water bath to heat and evaporate to about 10mL → Cool the small beaker with a small amount of remaining solution → put it in a refrigerator at 4℃ for cooling precipitation and crystallization →35mL Washing white crystals with anhydrous ethanol → filtration → drying in a constant temperature oven at 80℃ → white calcium lactate crystals are obtained.
3. A certain amount of eggshell powder after separating the shell film is said by double firing method, and the eggshell ash of white calcium oxide is obtained by high temperature forging in a Maofu furnace. Add a certain concentration of dilute hydrochloric acid to dissolve the eggshell ash, filter and remove the acid insoluble matter, and add a certain concentration of sodium carbonate solution to the filtrate to completely generate calcium carbonate precipitation, centrifuge separation, washing, and remove water-soluble salts. The high purity calcium carbonate is dried in the oven at 110℃ and then transferred to the Maofu furnace for high temperature satin burning to obtain high purity ash calcium oxide. The eggshell ash is finely ground and added to a certain amount of water to make lime milk, and the lactic acid solution is slowly added under constant agitation, and the solution is continued to be stirred until it is clarified, and then left for filtration. After proper concentration, the filtrate is placed at low temperature to crystallize naturally. After natural crystallization, dissolution and filtration, the mother liquor was properly concentrated and placed into natural crystallization for many times, collected and combined crystallization, washed with cold distilled water, properly concentrated, and then dried and dehydrated in a drying oven at 102℃ to obtain white powdered anhydrous calcium lactate.
4. The fermentation method uses corn or dried potato as raw material to directly produce calcium lactate through fermentation.
Application
1.It can be used in medicine to treat calcium deficiency, such as tetany, skeletal dysplasia, and rickets; it can also be used for hypocalcemia in patients with chronic renal failure; it can also be used as an auxiliary treatment for allergic diseases and tuberculosis; and Can be used as a coagulant.
2.Food additive, calcium agent used as food nutrition fortifier, used in baby food, dairy products, bread, cakes, candies, soy products, pickles, etc. As a calcium supplement, this product is easier to absorb than other products ; Used as a buffering agent and leavening agent for bread and pastries.
3.It is also often used as a skin hardener in fruit and vegetable food processing.
4 .As a feed additive in the feed industry, it can increase milk production, reduce the shell breaking rate of eggs, and promote the growth of young livestock.
