Gelatin Powder is produced by the degradation of collagen in connective tissues such as animal skin, bone, muscle membranes, and fascia, resulting in white or pale yellow, translucent, slightly glossy flakes or powders; hence, it is also called animal gelatin or fat gelatin. It is a large-molecule hydrophilic colloid and a low-calorie health food with high nutritional value.
