What is Calcium phytate?
Calcium phytate has a wide range of uses. In the food industry, using a 0.1% concentration of calcium phytate solution for blanching and disinfection can prevent the lid from rusting, so it can be used as an anti-corrosion agent; it can also be used as a processing agent for brewing water, a metal removal agent for products such as wine and vinegar, etc. In the fermentation industry, it can replace potassium phosphate when used for wine yeast culture, so that the yeast proliferates, the ethanol increases, and the taste is more fragrant; after the metal surface is treated with a calcium phytate solution, it is easy to electroplate.
Calcium phytate is a complex salt formed by phytic acid and metal ions such as calcium and magnesium, commonly known as phytin. It is widely present in plants and is the main component of all plant seeds, especially in rice bran, wheat bran and oilseeds. Calcium phytate has antioxidant and metal ion complexing effects and is widely used in dry food, medicine and other industries. Preparation method

Rapeseed meal contains 0.5% to 7.0% of sinigrin, which is degraded into isothiocyanates, oxazolidinones and nitriles under the action of enzymes. According to relevant data, rapeseed contains 4% to 6% phytic acid, which ranks first among oil crops. Therefore, calcium phytate is prepared while detoxifying rapeseed meal by acid method.
Use 0.1N acid solution to soak the rapeseed meal crushed to 20 mesh at room temperature for about 6 hours. During the sample soaking process, stir it once every 1 to 2 hours to achieve the best detoxification effect. Then filter, the filtrate is reserved, and the residue is washed with clean water and dried as a feed protein resource.
Slowly add quicklime to the filtrate, stir while adding, fully neutralize, and control the pH to 5.8 to 6.0 to fully precipitate calcium phytate. Centrifugal separation can obtain plaster-like calcium phytate, which can be dried in an oven at 60-80℃ to obtain dry gray-white block calcium phytate. After crushing, industrial calcium phytate can be obtained.
Dissolve calcium phytate with dilute acid, add a certain concentration of calcium chloride solution, stir evenly, adjust the pH value to 4.5, and then centrifuge to obtain wet refined calcium phytate, dry it in an oven at 50-70℃, and crush it to obtain the refined product.

(1) Acid leaching: crush defatted rice bran and pass it through a 40-mesh sieve, weigh 2 kg, add water at a ratio of 1:10, adjust the pH to 3.0 with 0.2 mol/L hydrochloric acid, heat to 40°C, keep constant temperature and stir continuously for 2.5 hours;
(2) Frame plate filtration: after the acid leaching liquid is cooled, squeeze and filter it with a frame plate filter cloth, first filter it twice with a 100-mesh filter cloth, then filter it twice with a 200-mesh filter cloth, collect the filtrate, wash the filter residue 3 times, and combine the filtrate;
(3) Ultrafiltration: use JY-SUF60 membrane equipment to ultrafiltration separation, select 500A° pore size ultrafiltration membrane, and separate the combined filtrate through the ultrafiltration membrane under 0.2MPa pressure; during the membrane separation process, add appropriate amount of water for dialysis to increase the amount of permeate, and add 30% of the total amount of combined filtrate in 3 batches. Collect the membrane permeate and retentate;
(4) Neutralization: Add fresh saturated lime water to the membrane permeate and retentate while stirring to adjust the pH. When the pH is 6.0, use 15% sodium hydroxide solution to adjust the pH to 7. At this time, the solution is separated into layers, the upper layer is straw-colored, and the lower layer is a milky white precipitate. Use saturated calcium chloride solution to detect whether there are free phytate ions in the upper clear layer. Let it stand for 2 hours, then discharge the supernatant and collect the two precipitates;
(5) Microfiltration: The two precipitates are separated by microfiltration using JY-SMF300 microfiltration membrane equipment. The pore size of the microfiltration membrane is 5μm and the pressure is 0.2MPa. Collect the retentate to obtain two liquid calcium phytates;
(6) Drying: The two liquid calcium phytates obtained by separation are dried in an infrared drying oven at 70℃ to obtain two types of calcium phytates, which are weighed. The membrane permeate obtained 100.4 g of solid calcium phytate with a purity of 82.87%, and the retentate obtained 12.8 g of solid calcium phytate with a purity of 69.36%. The yield of dry calcium phytate calculated based on the defatted rice bran raw material was 12.5%.
