Tanshinone IIA

(1) Effect on coronary arteries: Treating coronary heart disease can improve coronary circulation and inhibit the occurrence of thrombosis. Danshensu can significantly dilate coronary arteries, increase coronary blood flow, reduce myocardial oxygen consumption, slow down heart rate and increase myocardial contractility. Sodium Tanshinon IIA SilateA, a water-soluble substance obtained by sulfonation of tanshinone IIA, can increase coronary blood flow, improve myocardial metabolic disorders caused by hypoxia, thereby improving myocardial hypoxia resistance. It also significantly protects red blood cell membranes.

(2) Effect on myocardial repair: Both tanshinol and tanshinone IIA can significantly extend the hypoxia tolerance time of mice, reduce myocardial damage caused by hypoxia, and at the same time, improve myocardial contractility and promote myocardial regeneration.
