Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38

Palmitoyl tripeptide-38 is a lipopeptide composed of three amino acids and is an oxide of three amino acids. This peptide is inspired by a tripeptide naturally found in collagen VI and laminin. It can rebuild skin from within where needed, smoothing wrinkles and soothing the skin, especially effective for forehead lines, crow's feet, and neck wrinkles. It is commonly found in anti-aging skincare products.

Chemical Structure

Composed of three amino acids, it forms a lipid-dioxide peptide through palmitoylation modification, with the molecular formula C₃₃H₆₅N₅O₇S and a molecular weight of approximately 675.96.

Optimal pH range: 6.0–7.2 (pH < 5.5 may reduce laminin synthesis).

Usage temperature: ≤40°C; high temperatures may cause peptide chain breakage.
